Andrew Filippone,

Bb & C Trumpets, Piccolo Trumpet, and Flugelhorn

Mr. Filippone is the principal trumpeter of the Plainfield Symphony of which he has been a member since 1993. He has performed with the orchestra of the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey (formerly the Shakespeare Festival) for five different productions. He has also performed at private events honoring Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and traveled to Morocco to perform with a group for King Hasan. Frequently engaged in concerts throughout the metropolitan area, Mr. Filippone also maintains an active freelance career performing at wedding ceremonies, receptions and many community events. Mr. Filippone is a graduate of Hartt School of Music where he studied with Roger Murtha of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
